Answer: I think that Pinochet always when he have a case with the justice, he ill. I don't believe him.

Pinochet will be remembered as a dictator, killer and thief. For some few persons will be remembered as a hero

I believe that he don't deserve state funeral because to his goverment was ilegal, by his dictatorial content and by the judgments that have about humans rights and probity.

I really think that he is about to die now.
I don't think that this could be a "trap", i don't think that he is eluding the justice.

I guess that this depends of the person who remember him, i mean Right wind people may remember him like a person who saved the country from a tragedy, but by the other hand, Left people will remember him like a dictator who commited a lot of murderers.

yes he does, because he was a president, maybe with a fake voting, but president after all.
Anyway, I believe that be remembered by a big majoriy as a killer and thief. The people that support it are the richs more some desclassed.

R:...(laught)...just read the newspapers...he CAN'T be sick... if he really has all that his doctors says that he has, he should be already dead. It's funny how he eludes the justice...but it's disappointing that everybody believes him.

Well, honest, I'm sure that at his age he must be really sick, but REALLY sick.
How old is he? 91?
Well, then he must be surrounded by a lot of people who protect him by not giving him the chance of listening any piece of news.
How will he be remembered?
It depends.
I will remember him as a person who took all the propaganda and political issues out of my life.
I will also remember him as a president with or without votations.
And I will always remember him as the man who gave the concertacion's people the money that they are stealing... oops, earning now from their positions.
Example: Chile deportes - CORFO and Co.

He was a president wether we like it or not.

I was born during Pinochet's government and I don't see much difference from this government. Well, maybe one. When Pinochet was a president I remember that I read a lot of left wing newspapers and now that we are in a democracy (bueeeeeenas demos, i JUST CAN READ el mercurio. Where is the democracy?

Have you considered that for being a right government (or should I say ultraright) it was pretty short?
If I don't baf remember, Pinochet and Co. were only 16 years.
HOw long have other dictators been as governors, presidents, etc. in the power?
The problem is that left people cannot admit that Pinochet was for a very short period of time and left the country in a pretty stable way.
Plus, COncertación has been the same period of time and... what have they done?
1. Reforma educacional. (eso es una estafa)
